Stampin' Up! Dormant List

A few of you have asked me about the dormant list. This is the list of stamps and wheels that have not yet retired but are not currently listed in our main catalogue. I have created the list with individual links to each set so you can see images rather than just the names of the sets. The links will bring you to the general Stampin' Up! online store. If you would like to purchase any of the sets, just be sure to long onto my personal Stampin' Up! website at http://www.cfindlay.stampinup.net/ to receive the preferred customer pricing or just give me a call.

Click on the following to view the list. http://www.dunfermline.ca/stamping/dormant.htm I will also keep a link posted on the right so you can easily access the list at any time.

Please let me know if any of the links are not working.

Happy Stamping!

Lovely Little Ladybug

This is the card I made for my sister for her birthday earlier this month. I had an idea in mind when I started, but I just kept adding to the card and it turned out completely different than what I had originally planned.

The circles (other than the ladybug) were all cut using my new Circle Scissors Plus tool. It cuts circles and rings to whatever size you'd like starting at 2" and sizes up in 1/8" increments to 6". For the ladybug, I just used my circle punches.

The flowers are from my Stampin' Up! pretties kit. I colored them with my Stampin' write markers and then soaked them with my aquapainter. The water from the aquapainter softened and blended the colors. In the center of the flower is one of our Circle Ice Rhinestone Brads.

To add the finishing touch, I used my Basic Black Stampin' Write marker and white gel pen to add the faux stitching.

Enjoy!

Is there a Doctor in the House?

It's arrived! When Stampin' Up! offered a special on the Dr bag last week, I couldn't pass it up and had to order one. With the black & white plaid and pink pinstrip and adorable pink polka dot lining, I couldn't wait for it to be delivered. I was so excited when my UPS delivery guy dropped the boxes on my door step this morning, I had to grab my camera!

Isn't this lining just too cute!!!

Here it is packed up! Following the suggestion of other demonstrators, I've put my Big Shot in the bag width wise rather than length wise. This leaves plenty of room for dies and other supplies. I've also put my cutting plates and multipurpose platform on top of my Big Shot platform to keep it out of the way.

And here it is all zipped up and ready to go!
