Sweet Treat Candy Wrapper

This morning I received an order that I've been checking the UPS site daily patiently waiting for and was thrilled when I heard it dropped on my doorstep! I hardly had the box in the house before ripping off the packing tape!

One of the items I'd ordered was the new Candy Wrapper die from the Holiday Mini Catalogue and I couldn't wait to try it out. I have a weakness for little boxes and when I saw the die in the catalogue I knew I'd have to order it at SOME point!

If you haven't had a chance to see the new Holiday Mini yet, let me know and I can get you a copy or you can view it online here.

The new Candy Wrapper die looks like this:

Candy Wrapper Bigz Die  # 120890  Price $43.95

Of course I had to cut one out and assemble it immediately!  The wonderful thing about these dies is they cut and score everything perfectly for you!  It took a couple minutes for me to figure out how to fold the ends properly, but once I figured out how to "twist" them, they closed perfectly and I know the next one will be a snap!!!

Here is the first one I've done:   Click on the pics for a closer peek!

How adorable is this!  Can you imagine your guests delight to sit down to a Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner with you this year and find this waiting on their plate????

I cut this one from our Cherry Cobbler cardstock (one of my absolutely FAVORITE new colors!!!!).  I added a Very Vanilla belly band that I embossed with my Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder.

I stamped the image from our Bells & Boughs clear mount set also from our Holiday Mini and water colored it with a variety of our classic inks and a blender pen.  I added a little shine to the bells with our Moonlight Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink.  I cut out the image and layered it on  a piece of our Old Olive grosgrain ribbon adhering it with our Stampin Dimensionals and adhered it to the top of the box.  SO cute!  The finished box is 2" x 1-3/8" x 1-3/8" (not including the twisted ends)

Here it is next to one of our regular size ink pads to compare the size.

These adorable boxes could be used for party or wedding favors, gift toppers, stocking stuffers, table place settings, small gift boxes, etc!  I can't wait to make more!

Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stack Choices

It happens every day: you walk to the mailbox, pull out the mail, and shuffle through a stack of ever-present bills and junk mail. But every once in a while, hiding among the dull and dreary stacks of envelopes, you find something that makes your heart beat a little faster and brings a smile to your face--someone has taken the time to send you a card!. What a great feeling!

Why not brighten someones day with a hand-stamped Christmas card! On October 14th you'll have the opportunity to stamp 12 embellished Christmas cards - for only $25!!! I'm offering 3 different designs to choose from and you can choose as many of each design you'd like up to 12 cards!

Never made a card? No problem! As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I am happy to get you started in this immensely fulfilling hobby.

Registration and payment due October 1st to give me enough time to order and prep your very own custom card kit.  Your spot will only be reserved once I receive your card kit payment.*

Seating is limited and I'd be so disappointed if you missed out on the fun, so register with me as soon as possible!

Here are the three card designs to choose from.  (Click the images for a closer peek)

1)  Traditional Christmas

This card uses assorted punches, a Big Shot embossing folder & Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

2)  Vintage Christmas

This card has a vintage flair with lots of sponging, embossing with the Big Shot, water coloring and our Dazzling Diamonds glitter.  (Various greetings to choose from)

3)  Modern Christmas

This simplistic design is much more modern with clean lines, a touch of bling with our Rhinestone jewels and far from a traditional color palette.

Maybe only one or two of the designs are your style - no problem! Just let me know which designs you like and how many of each you'd like to stamp (for a total of twelve cards) and I'll prepare you a custom card kit! Each kit will include all precut materials, embellishments, adhesive, white or vanilla card inserts and envelopes.
